Job Description:
Compass Group, the world’s largest contract foodservice company, has a Great Opportunity for career development and growth here at its North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC for a Technical Solution Analyst-Point of Sale.
The Primary Responsibility of the FSS Field Services Technology (FST) Implementation Analyst is Providing Point of Sale Deployment Support to Compass Units Using FSS Front of House Technology.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, Track and Complete Hosted POS Configuration
- Participate in Deployment Meetings
- Ensure Required Information is Received in Time to Complete Data Setup
- Work with Unit Managers, District Managers and Financial Teams to Ensure Best Practices are Followed
- Direct Vendors on Compass Standards
- Edit and Verify Data Imports and Exports Meet File Specifications Based Upon POS Vendor
- Assist the Team Lead in Establishing SOP as They Relate to POS Implementation
- Work with POS Vendors In Deployment Testing of Integrated Systems
- Assist the Team Lead on Projects Related to the Development, Improvement and Bringing to Market of FSS Front of House Technology Solutions
- Assist Business Solution Managers in Delivering a Quality Point of Sale Implementation
Qualifications:
- Point of Sale (POS) system administration experience, preferably Micros
- Project Management Experience
- Strong Written and Oral Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to Effectively Prioritize and Execute Multiple Concurrent Tasks
- Strong Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving Capabilities
- Ability to Quickly Adapt to Shifting Priorities, Demands and Timelines
- Basic Knowledge of Computer Network Infrastructure Design and Communications
