This position reports directly to the Resident General Manager with a dotted line to the National Catering Sales VP and is responsible for soliciting business for Social events, Wedding, Meetings, Conventions, etc. at multiple venues. The position will operate in accordance with strategic objectives and selective selling guidelines in place to meet and exceed market driven Group revenue components. Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:



  • Aggressively find and pursue all appropriate opportunities for business in the segment by outside customer solicitation and relationship building.

  • Drive revenue and grow Wolfgang Puck brand in regional market.

  • Correspond with potential clients providing any requested information concerning bids, proposals, confirmation of bookings, and follow up correspondence, etc.

  • Manage multi-unit Catering Sales Team.

  • In conjunction with other office associates, you will maintain accurate and up to date records of all Sales department functions and transactions.


Qualifications:



  • Individual must have a minimum of 5 years of progressive, strong sales experience with a catering company, full service hotel, or other related field/equivalent experience.

  • Must have experience in managing multiple venues and sales team.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing a plus.

  • Previous experience managing Sales team preferably in a multi-unit environment.

  • Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, be a team player and be able to creatively think and work within the full spectrum of all that is involved with being a successful catering company.
