Responsibilities:
Ability hire, train and manage 12 drivers to safely and successfully deliver over 60 locations in a timely manner.
Ability to ensure a backup driver program is developed and maintained.Ability to route and re-route drivers to maximize fuel efficiency, meet time schedules and add and delete locations as customer demands.Ability to ensure all preventive maintenance is scheduled and completed on vehicles.Ability to ensure all repairs on vehicles are completed in the most cost effective manner.Ability to track MPG performance and work with drivers to improve performance to meet the most efficient standards established.Ability to review and approve all fuel purchases as appropriate company expense.Ability to evaluate drivers' performance compliance and counsel drivers for behavior issues.Ability to order, receive, store and manage production inventory.
Qualifications:
A minimum of two years related experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites.
Union experience helpful.
Valid driver's license and good driving record.
