Summary:
- Provide the highest quality technical assistance in utilizing specialized video and audio recording and capture equipment in order to perform Platinum-level CCS video services.
- Provide the highest quality customer service for clients who have ordered MSAV’s Collaborative Conferencing Support services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for knowing how to effectively use all CCS Video Services equipment in order to support Platinum video services events, including Event Recording, Podcasting, Live Streaming, and post-production services.
- Must have excellent understanding of video and audio signal types, conversion methods, adjustment procedures, and quality indicators.
- Must have excellent camera operation skills, including: camera and tripod setup; setting proper iris, gain, focus, and white balance; using proper subject framing and proper pan and zoom technique.
- Responsible for ensuring and maintaining image quality at all times during event support.
- Setup and proper use of video and stage lighting fixtures.
- Responsible for maintaining basic knowledge of the features of Microsoft Skype for Business and Office Live Meeting in order to provide Web-Conferencing assistance.
- Responsible for maintaining basic knowledge of the features of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and Telepresence systems in order to provide VTC and Telepresence assistance.
- Responsible for self-training on all updates with software related to CCS service offerings. For example, when Microsoft makes a change to the audio recording capabilities of Skype for Business, the CCS technician must learn these new capabilities immediately so as to best assist clients.
- Perform project work as assigned by lead or manager.
- Perform technical research and stay apprised of new industry developments.
- Basic AV maintenance and troubleshooting. CCS technicians must occasionally provide basic AV support to get meetings back online. Technical proficiency with video, audio, and projection/display equipment is required. Ability to use AV diagnostic equipment is also a necessity.
- Work with MSAV Service Desk to ensure smooth communication of any event logistics specifications and modifications.
- Keep both clients and Meetings or CLOS event managers highly informed about the progress of our support services for their events.

- Competent in Computer Applications – Excel, Power Point, Word, Internet and Outlook.
